APH Park and Ride with EV charging

Book your Manchester Airport parking at APH Park & Ride with EV Charging and your vehicle will be charged to capacity , leaving you free to head straight to the terminal for check-in.

The APH Park & Ride with EV Charging car park is fully secured with extensive safety measures, so you can park with complete peace of mind, knowing your vehicle is in a well-protected car park. The site is monitored by CCTV, floodlit during the night, and enclosed within secure fencing. The car park is staffed 24 hours a day by our dedicated team, so you’ll always receive a friendly APH welcome no matter what time you arrive, along with the confidence that your vehicle is in safe hands.

Directions

From the M60 anti-clockwise:

  1. Exit at Junction 5 and then leave at the second junction signed A560.
  2. At the roundabout turn left – signed Sharston.
  3. Go straight on at the next roundabout and left at the following roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.  

From the M60 clockwise:

  1. Exit at Junction 4 onto the M56.
  2. Exit at Junction 2 signed Wythenshawe.
  3. Go right at the roundabout into the Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

M6 Cheshire:

  1. Join the M56 and exit at Junction 3A signed A560.
  2. Turn right into A560 and go straight over the next roundabout.
  3. Left at the next roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

Arrival instructions

Arriving at APH Park & Ride with EV Charging couldn’t be easier:

  1. At the entrance to the car park, wait for the barrier to open automatically.
  2. Drive into one of the marked arrival bays.
  3. Unload your luggage and check in at Reception. Your vehicle will be charged to the amount you have pre-purchased only and then moved to a secure parking bay by a fully trained and insured driver.
  4. Take the next transfer bus to the airport terminal.

Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and transfer to the terminal. You do not need to allow time for your vehicle to be charged; this will be done for you while you head to check in for your flight.

Return instructions

Returning to collect your car is just as easy:

  1. Once you have landed back at Manchester, call or text us.
  2. Follow the signs to the marked APH bus stops just outside the terminal.
  3. Take the next transfer bus back to the APH car park.
  4. Collect your keys from Reception and pick up your car, which will have been charged for you.

There are staff on hand 24 hours a day, if you need any assistance.

Important information

APH are unable to transport bikes, surf/windsurfing boards or items of a similar size on their transfer coaches. Snowboards/skis are acceptable.

Your car must arrive at the car park with at least 5% vehicle charge and you must supply your own charging lead. Your vehicle will be charged to capacity.

 

Security

There's no need to worry about your car while you're away as the APH car park at Manchester. The car park also has CCTV, 24-hour manned patrols and entry and exit barriers.

APH Manchester operates two sites where your car could be parked. There is the main site where your vehicle is dropped off and a covered site – known as the Dome – just a few hundred yards away.

Both sites offer extensive security features such as CCTV, security fencing and manned patrols.

All cars will be returned to the main car park for collection upon your return.

Disabled facilities

Staff are happy to help with the unloading and loading of bags onto the buses. There is also a disabled toilet at the car park and the buses are wheelchair friendly.

Transfer details

Transfers to Manchester Airport from the car park take around 10 minutes and operate 24 hours a day running every 15 minutes.

Please allow extra time due to airport roadway congestion. 

Vehicle restrictions

Vehicle restrictions apply - Maximum vehicle height: 2.4m.

There will be a £20 charge for vehicles over 5m that do not fit in a standard parking space.

APH Manchester park and ride is open 365 days a year and operates 24 hours a day.

    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at the pre-booked arrival time you select during your reservation.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking before your arrival time, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
